Quality of Life

Understanding a pet’s quality of life is complicated and serious.  You, as the person who knows your pet best, will understand better your pet and your situation than anyone.

However, quality of life is what we think about every day.  The veterinarian or trained support staff of In the Comfort of Home can discuss your pet’s status with you prior to scheduling.

Please also print and consult the very helpful HuMANE CARE quality of life assessment tool and review it periodically. This tool lists many aspects that are important to a pet’s quality of life that many people may not otherwise consider.  It also helps if all the family members answer the questions on their own because usually each person interacts with the pet in a different capacity (some feed, some walk, some act as the pet’s favorite sleeping spot, etc).
