Appointment Timing Fees

In some situations, additional fees may apply based on appointment timing, including:

• Evening appointments
• Weekend appointments
• Holidays and holiday weekends

We will always review any timing-related fees with you in advance.

Scheduling & Cancellations

We understand that plans can change, especially during difficult times.

Cancellations made within 4 hours of the scheduled appointment time will incur a $130 cancellation fee, which must be paid prior to rescheduling.

Not Sure If It’s Time?

It’s completely normal to feel unsure.

Many families struggle with this decision, and there is rarely a perfectly clear moment. If you’re feeling uncertain, you’re not alone.

In some cases, families schedule an appointment and realize they need more time once the veterinarian arrives—and that’s okay.

If euthanasia does not take place, the visit will be treated as a Quality of Life consultation.

Travel & Service Area

Because we serve families throughout a wide geographic area, travel fees are based on the location of your home.

You can review our service area map below to get a general sense of coverage. Our team will confirm your location and any applicable travel fees when your appointment is scheduled.

Appointments Outside Coverage Area

For locations outside of our standard service area, availability is more limited due to extended travel times and the need to accommodate other scheduled visits.

In these cases, a nonrefundable booking fee of $190–$200 is required to secure the appointment. This fee is applied toward the total cost of your visit.

If an appointment is canceled, all other fees will be refunded. The booking fee is not transferable to a future date or time.

Payment

Payment is due at the time of service. All applicable fees will be reviewed with you before your appointment is confirmed.

If anything changes during the visit, your veterinarian will discuss this with you before proceeding.

For clients paying by credit card, payment is collected over the phone at the time of scheduling.

ScratchPay

ScratchPay is a payment option that allows you to divide the cost of care into smaller monthly payments rather than paying the full amount at once.

It is not a credit card, and checking your options does not impact your credit score. The application process is quick and completed online.

This option is available to help ease financial stress during an already difficult time.
