There are a few different aftercare options available, and we will help guide you through whichever feels right for you.
Pricing may vary based on your pet’s weight and specific needs, and we will review all costs with you ahead of your appointment so there are no surprises.

Cremation Options
Private Cremation
With private cremation, your pet is cremated individually, and their ashes are returned to you.
This option allows you to keep your pet’s ashes in a way that feels meaningful to you.
For most pets, private cremation is $350, with pricing adjusted for larger pets based on weight.
We will confirm your selections with you before your appointment.
An assortment of urns is included, and you will have the opportunity to choose from a selection of thoughtfully chosen options, which you can view below.
Communal Cremation
With communal cremation, your pet is cremated alongside other pets, and ashes are not returned.
This option provides a respectful communal aftercare process without the return of ashes.
For most pets, communal cremation is $200, with pricing adjusted for larger pets based on weight.
Communal cremains are thoughtfully handled through Pet Reefs, where they are incorporated into the creation of artificial reef structures.
Cremation Pickup
If your pet passes at home and you would like assistance with cremation, we can help.
A $200 pickup fee applies, and you can choose either private or communal cremation based on your preference. Travel and appointment timing fees may also apply.
We will guide you through next steps and help coordinate aftercare based on your preferences.
Urns
A standard urn is included with private cremation. We offer a selection of thoughtfully chosen standard urns to safely return your pet’s ashes to you.

Memorial Package
We offer a Memorial Package for families who would like a collection of keepsakes to remember their pet.
These keepsakes are designed to offer something tangible to remember your pet.
The Memorial Package includes:
- Clay paw print with display stand
- Fur clipping
- Personalized heart charm
These items are prepared with care to help you remember your pet in a meaningful way.
Many families choose this option as a way to keep a small, lasting connection to their pet.
Individual memorial items may also be selected separately.
This package is optional and can be added at the time of scheduling or discussed further with your veterinarian.
The Memorial Package is available for $120.

Fur Clipping
Home Burial
Some families feel most comfortable keeping their pet at home for burial.
This option allows you to create a resting place in a familiar and meaningful environment.
Before selecting home burial, it’s important to consider a few factors:
- Local ordinances and regulations
- Proximity to water sources
- Soil and digging conditions
- Wildlife safety
Please note that medications used during euthanasia remain in the body and may pose risks to wildlife and the environment if not handled appropriately.
It is the responsibility of the pet owner to ensure that burial is permitted and performed safely in accordance with local guidelines.
Returning Your Pet’s Ashes
Ashes can be returned in a few different ways, depending on your preference:
- Pickup at your referring veterinary practice (included at no extra cost)
- USPS Priority Mail Express with signature required, shipped directly from the cremation provider ($45)
- Pickup from Corner Gateway (included at no extra cost)
We will confirm your preferred option with you and ensure everything is handled according to your wishes.
What to Expect After Your Visit
After your pet’s passing, we will carefully transport them for aftercare based on the selections you’ve made.
We will ensure you know exactly when and how your pet’s ashes will be returned to you, and we are always here if you have any questions along the way.
